Gundam: Ringworld
The world is a vast, vast ring around the sun, and for you, and everyone else, it’s been like that for all of living memory. They say that humans came to this place, from a distant star, and lived an idyllic life. Their every need and desire was created with the wondrous G Systems, incredible machines that could produce everything from food to the legendary mobile suits to ships that could travel the very stars themselves. Civilization on the Ring was perfect.
Until one day, almost all of the G Systems shut down, along with most of the Ring’s technology. Civilization was thrown into chaos in an instant, and all that remains of those times is legend, the wreckage of cities, and the silent G Systems, picked over by scavengers to this day. Civilizations rose and fell around the few remaining Mini G Systems. Now, humanity ekes out a primitive existence, all over the ring, farming and hunting and using what technology can be scavenged from the ruins.
Until now. The G Systems are one by one, activating again, just waiting for anyone with the will to come and claim them. Everyone knows the legends: with enough G Systems, you can control a Mega G System… and with enough of those, you can grasp the supreme Giga G System, in orbit around the sun. He who controls the Giga G System controls the Ring. But will that person be a god? Or a devil?
