New RPG development announcement

I am hereby officially starting development of Gundam Cataclysm RPG. If this RPG name seems familiar to you, it’s because I ran an RPG of the exact same name about ten years ago, along with Robert Smith (a man named Rob was the initial creator and runner).

I had talked about doing an updated version of that RPG before, but now I’m gonna take a crack at actually doing it.

While this is still in a somewhat early stage, may mechanics from the Future Imperfect series of RPGs will be returning in greater or lesser form, and the concept of every player starting as a rogue will remain.

In addition, at least initially, joining will be restricted to mobile suits that were available at that time both in and out of universe. In other words: UC Gundam, Gundam X, Gundam Wing, and G Gundam, as well as certain Build Fighters suits that would fall into these time periods. None of that fancy stuff from 00, Seed, Wing, Super Robot Wars, or IBO will be allowed, at least initially.

Honestly, I should have done this a long time ago. If you can’t get the setting to work, change the setting.

And another note: when I actually can recover a damn list of donators (probably from gofundme), anyone who donated during my difficulties a while back will still be rewarded for it if they so desire.

Along with this RPG will come the return of a Simplemachines based forum; it worked great for our purposes, better than phpbb in all honesty. I’ll be working on getting that up and running after I finish this here post.
